American Campus Communities seeks a Service Technician for The Lodges of East Lansing in East Lansing, MI. The role supports a busy residential facilities maintenance team, handling work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and vendor coordination to keep common areas and resident apartments safe and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential maintenance, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform and manage work orders.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform and close out work orders in a timely, quality-minded manner.
• Assist in property turn process and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and inspections of common areas and apartments.
• Safely operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment following safety protocols.
• Escort vendors on-site and facilitate their work as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and back-of-house areas.
