$24.00/hr - $26.00/hr

Join Our Team as a Facilities Technician!

Location: Northern San Diego County (Carlsbad, Fallbrook)

Schedule: 10:00am-6:30pm, Monday - Friday.

Compensation: $24-$26/hour.

The Role: Facilities Technician

As a Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for both clients and staff. You’ll work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to handle a variety of maintenance tasks, from carpentry and plumbing to safety inspections and equipment upkeep. Every day brings something different — and your work directly impacts the healing environment we provide.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities
  • Support installations and refurbishments (telecom, HVAC, electrical, etc.)
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to meet health & safety standards
  • Assist with workstation setup and upkeep of IT infrastructure
  • Conduct regular property tours to assess and respond to facility needs
  • Maintain documentation of all work performed
  • Ensure compliance with local fire codes, NFPA, and Joint Commission standards
  • Provide onboarding training to new employees regarding facilities use and safety protocols

What We’re Looking For

  • Education minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various conditions, and use ladders/scaffolding
  • Hands-on experience with general facility repair work (plumbing, carpentry, flooring, basic construction)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow with an expanding organization
