This position can potentially be located anywhere in the continental U.S.
Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the installation, service, support, and training of IMI’s MILCURE wheel refinishing equipment.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
- Travel 60–65%, including some weekends and evenings.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues via phone and guide minor repairs.
- Document activities in CRM for efficiency and reporting.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Team on equipment issues and repairs.
- Provide emergency and scheduled service, including site visits.
- Resolve major issues through site visits and discussions with leadership and customers.
Equipment Installations – Standard and Custom:
- Coordinate pre-installation calls and site visits.
- Follow-up with customers post-installation or service.
- Coordinate orders with sales and operations.
- Travel within the U.S. and Canada for installations and maintenance.
- Provide onsite training on equipment operation and safety.
- Work with sales, marketing, and product teams for business growth.
- Participate in ongoing training and conduct service audits.
- Assist with new product development and sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 3–5 years in maintenance/repair of industrial or commercial equipment; blasting equipment experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical skills, electrical knowledge a plus.
- Proven ability to complete installations/maintenance on first visit.
- Frequent travel within U.S. and Canada; ability to plan and book travel.
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Work in various environments; valid driver’s license with clean record.
- Equipment layout/design experience a plus; proficiency with PCs and software.
