Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking an Escrow Assistant to manage residential real estate closings from start to finish. You will coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and brokers, clear title, balance and disburse escrow funds, and record documents to insure title.

The role requires 1–4 years of escrow experience, and a notary license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of escrow assistant experience (preferred real estate background).
• Notary license or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to work without supervision, multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Good oral, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Resware and/or Qualia is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review residential purchase/sale contracts and ensure terms are met.
• Review title commitments and clear curative items; resolve issues.
• Prepare and issue closing-related letters and transfer documents.
• Coordinate closings with all parties involved.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Record documents in the proper counties.
• Maintain relations with customers and align with Mason Title goals.
• Handle confidential information professionally.
• Support supervisor with other duties or special projects.
