Job summary

Near North Title Group in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Residential Escrow Officer/Closer to manage real estate closings from start to finish. You will review agreements, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional service in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires 3+ years of escrow or closing experience, familiarity with title insurance, and proficiency with SoftPro. Strong communication, organization, and willingness to travel to other offices are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of escrow or real estate closing experience.
• Title insurance experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, organization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to other offices for closings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential real estate closings professionally and accurately.
• Review and prepare closing documents.
• Ensure timely and compliant execution and recording of files.
• Verify title clearance and financial obligations.
• Calculate taxes, insurance, and other transaction costs.
• Manage escrow funds and disbursements.
• Enter and maintain data in SoftPro.
• Collaborate with other Escrow Officers/Closers.

About the Role:

Near North is seeking a Residential Escrow Officer/Closer to manage real estate closings from start to finish.
