Job summary
CAPECO is seeking a HOME AUDITOR INSPECTOR for its Weatherization program in Hermiston or Pendleton. The role conducts energy audits, diagnostic testing, and safety assessments, while guiding contractors and providing client service.
The position requires certifications and training, plus travel within the service area as needed. Regular full-time, non-exempt, with benefits and a salary of $4,918/month plus 6% differential pay.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Must obtain Oregon Lead Safe Renovator Certification within 90 days.
- Certifications in energy analysis, inspector roles and related areas within 2 years.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed residential energy audits and analyze cost/benefit data.
- Administer diagnostic tests including blower door, duct tests and CO testing.
- Identify safety issues and recommend weatherization measures.
- Oversee contractor work with periodic inspections.
- Provide customer service and assist with training and documentation.
