Job summary

TurnPoint Services seeks an Electrical Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial customers. You will diagnose faults, perform panel work, and upgrade EV charging installations while upholding safety and code standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of electrical experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality. A Journeyman/Master license is preferred and a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electrical service, maintenance, or installation.
• Journeyman/Master license preferred; valid driver's license required.
• Solid knowledge of electrical theory, wiring, panels, load calculations, grounding.
• OSHA/NFPA 70E safety knowledge; PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• HS diploma or GED; vocational training preferred.
• Professional communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & repair of circuits, panels, switches, outlets, lighting.
• Install new circuits, lighting upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers.
• Preventive maintenance and load testing to ensure code compliance.
• Follow NEC, NFPA, and company safety standards; pass inspections.
• Document service tickets with materials, time, and work details.
• Communicate options and recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate with supervisors, dispatchers, and other trades.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and service vehicle.
