Job summary

Harris Comfort in Bristol, PA, is seeking a licensed Electrician to join our field service team. You will handle heavy residential electrical installations, including standby generator hookups and panel upgrades, while delivering reliable power solutions to local homes.

As the premier cross-trained pro, you will install, wire, and commission generator systems, coordinate sub-panel work, and ensure all projects meet NEC and Bucks County codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or trade school.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• 1–2 years of residential electrical service experience; generator installs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and commission residential standby generator systems and ATS.
• Coordinate sub-panel installations and utility line tie-ins.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and component replacement on standby systems.
• Run power wiring, conduit, and disconnect boxes for HVAC equipment.
• Execute residential service entries and panel upgrades (100A–400A).
• Balance panel loads and low‑voltage wiring for controls and smart thermostats.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and code violations.
• Ensure work meets NEC and Bucks County regulations.
• Follow LOTO and OSHA safety protocols.
