Job summary

Northern One Hour Heating is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to safety and code compliance, with the ability to mentor apprentices and coordinate with homeowners.

Qualifications

• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred (as required by state regulations).
• Significant residential electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, NEC requirements, and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate residential electrical installations, repairs, and service work.
• Lead and mentor electricians, apprentices, and field crews.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Review daily schedules and ensure jobs are properly staffed and completed on time
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Manage labor, materials, and equipment to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and address customer questions or concerns
• Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
