Job summary

Davis Heating, Cooling and Electrical has proudly served the Lynchburg, VA community since 1979. We are seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Service Technician who can diagnose, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

You will work with a team dedicated to integrity and quality service. In this role, you will perform system inspections, communicate clearly with homeowners, and maintain thorough records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or electrical certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential electrical service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems including wiring, panels, outlets, and lighting.
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues and recommended solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.
