Athens Services is hiring a Commercial Driver to operate a heavy-duty truck on recycling and commercial routes. You will deliver efficient service, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and maintain strong customer relations on every stop.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A or B license required.
• 1 year of Side Loader experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty truck following OSHA/DOT and company policies.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety on all routes.
• Assist in ensuring safe, efficient service for commercial and residential customers.
• Document route checks and communicate issues to Dispatch/Route Supervisor.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Support route optimization and timely deliveries.
