Position Overview:
Clemleddy Construction is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Draftsman/Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD software and have experience in residential construction design. You’ll work closely with our design and construction teams to create accurate and functional drawings that reflect the client’s vision and meet building codes and company standards.

Please note: This is not a remote role. You will be working from our Hawley, PA office location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD drawings and design plans for residential projects, including new homes, renovations, and additions.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to refine concepts and incorporate design feedback.
• Prepare construction documents, floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and structural requirements.
• Update and revise plans based on field changes and design modifications.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Chief Architect (required); experience with other design software is a plus.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in residential design or drafting (design/build experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
