Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. Through Overhead Door Company of Santa Fe is seeking Residential Door Technician Trainees who are mechanically inclined to help in the service and installation of residential doors and door hardware.

Prior experience in doors, hardware, security, or related residential construction roles is a plus. You will install or service residential garage doors, identify opportunities with customers, and manage job paperwork while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or service residential garage doors and door hardware.
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
• Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit in a timely manner.
• Operate safely while performing job duties.

Overhead Door Company of Santa Fe™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire Residential Door Technician Trainees who are mechanically inclined and can help in the service and installation of residential doors and door hardware. If you have experience working on doors, door hardware, security, systems integration, access control, glass, glazing, framing, or anything similar within the residential construction industry.

What You'll Do

• Install and/or service residential garage doors and door hardware
• Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services
• Track and maintain job related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
• Always operate with safety conscious manner while performing job duties

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED (Preferred)
• Prior experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to work at heights and use a ladder
• Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
