Lifetime Assistance, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional – Residential in LeRoy, NY to provide personal care and support daily living activities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You'll help develop independence, ensure safety, document progress on service plans, and assist with community activities. The role offers full-time hours, weekend shifts, training, and opportunities for career growth within a compassionate, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; dependable, friendly, and trustworthy.
• Vehicle Operator requirements apply (except overnight/relief shifts).
• First Aid/CPR, SCIP-R, and Medication Administration cert (or ability to obtain).
• Background checks and clearances required (SCR, Fingerprinting, SEL, MHL).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance (ADL) including hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in developing independence and social skills.
• Ensure health and safety, including medication administration (if certified).
• Implement and document progress on individualized service plans and daily supports.
• Encourage community integration and participation in social/recreational activities.
• Drive agency vehicles for transportation as needed.
• Maintain positive, professional communication with individuals, families, and colleagues.
• Complete required training, certifications and ongoing professional development.
