Job summary

P.I.L.O.T. Services is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional in Berlin, NJ to provide hands-on support to individuals in a residential setting.

Weekend shifts from Friday to Saturday nights offer meaningful engagement and opportunities to promote independence and personal growth. You will work with adults with intellectual disabilities, helping with daily living skills, transportation, and community activities while maintaining accurate records in the THERAP system.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED.
• NJ auto driver's license with fewer than 5 points; probationary licenses not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities.
• Assist with personal care and daily living skills as needed.
• Transport individuals to community outings, recreational activities, and appointments.
• Plan and participate in activities such as arts, crafts, games, and outings.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation using the THERAP EHR system.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment.

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands‑on support to individuals in a residential setting, helping them enjoy meaningful, engaging weekends while promoting independence and personal growth.

Schedule

• Weekends only
• Additional hours may be available based on coverage needs

What You’ll Do

• Provide supervision and support to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities
• Assist with personal care and daily living skills as needed
• Transport individuals to community outings, recreational activities, and appointments
• Plan and participate in activities such as arts & crafts, games, cooking, and outings
• Support social engagement through trips, events, and community involvement
• Maintain accurate daily documentation using our Electronic Health Record system (THERAP)
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment
