Position Summary

As a Residential Direct Support Professional, youll play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, including medication administration, meal planning, transportation, and personal care. Youll help clients manage their budgets, maintain a safe and clean environment, and achieve their personal goals through Person-Centered Support Plans (PCSPs).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily Support: Provide day-to-day services in residential settings, including training, meal preparation, and shopping.
• Health & Safety: Administer medications as prescribed, monitor health concerns, and maintain emergency equipment. Report health changes and incidents promptly.
• Financial Assistance: Help clients manage budgets, maintain spending records, and organize receipts.
• Community Engagement: Support clients in participating in community activities and accessing local resources.
• Client Development: Work closely with clients to meet their personal goals, ensuring PCSPs are implemented and documented effectively.
• Home Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe living environment, assisting with cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks.

Work Environment

This is an in-person role that requires mental stability and emotional intelligence to handle the stresses of working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.
