Job summary

VIP Quality Services, LLC is a residential and day services provider for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, delivering life-enriching experiences and safe, respectful environments. This role supports individuals in becoming self-sufficient and self-advocating within residential settings.

Daily responsibilities include assisting with goals, providing emotional support, personal hygiene, medication management, documentation, transportation, cooking, and supervision in both home

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to achieve and exceed their personnel goals.
• Provide structure and emotional support.
• Assist in the facilitation of resolving behavioral issues; assist individuals with personal hygiene.
• Manage and dispense medication.
• Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned.
• Transport individuals to and from activities.
• Cooking and housekeeping also required.
• Provide direction and supervision on ground and in the community.
• Understand and follow instructions provided by supervisor(s).
• Intervene in crisis situations using approved crisis management system.
• Keep the home safe, clean, and orderly.

Residential Support positions work in a residential setting assisting consumers in becoming self-sufficient, self-advocating, self-driven, and self-actualized individuals.
