Institute for Community Living Inc. in the Bronx, NY, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care in a residential program.

You will support adults with developmental and physical disabilities, helping them meet daily living goals and build essential skills. Required: High School Diploma or GED and a DSP certificate; AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid certifications within six months; a valid NY Driver’s License; and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Direct Support Professional (DSP) Certificate from an accredited organization required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and health support including hygiene and medication administration (per AMAP).
• Support nutrition, mealtime activities, and social dining skills.
• Maintain a safe, clean residential environment and assist with routine tasks.
• Promote independence and community integration through skill-building and transportation.
• Observe, document, and report progress; participate in meetings and training.
