Harrell Design + Build in Mountain View, CA is seeking a talented Designer to join our award-winning, employee-owned Design + Build team. You will work with designers, drafting specialists, and construction pros to turn kitchens, baths, and whole-home remodels into functional, beautiful spaces.

From concept through construction, you will craft space plans, material palettes, and client presentations, coordinate with vendors, and help manage project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior design for residential spaces, including kitchens and baths.
• Strong space planning, materials, finishes, and design principles.
• Knowledge of cabinetry, fixtures, appliances, lighting, and residential products.
• Ability to create cohesive design concepts balancing aesthetics, budget, and constructability.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Lead Designers to develop creative, functional residential design solutions.
• Develop space plans, design concepts, material palettes, renderings, and client presentations.
• Research and specify cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, appliances, finishes.
• Assist with cabinetry design, specifications, pricing, ordering, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate with CAD and drafting teams to reflect design intent in drawings.
• Prepare and maintain detailed product selections and project documentation.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and showroom appointments.
• Support material sourcing and procurement with vendors and internal teams.
• Attend site meetings and walkthroughs to ensure design intent is realized.
• Maintain the design showroom and assets.
