The Residential Counselor position offers a unique opportunity to work in the Human Services field, supporting adults with mental health challenges who reside together in a community setting. Our dedicated residential staff plays a crucial role in empowering residents to achieve independence by enhancing their daily living skills, managing psychiatric symptoms, ensuring physical health, and overall improving their quality of life.

Location: Weymouth, MA

Hourly rate: $20.00

Part-Time & Full-Time Schedules Available:

• Sun 5pm – 11pm & Wed 3pm – 7pm (10 hours)
• Tues – Sat 3pm – 11pm (40 hours)
• Monday - Friday 12pm - 8pm (40 hours)

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Daily Living Skills: Provide instruction in essential skills such as cooking, budgeting, and social interaction.
• Implementing Treatment Plans: Assist residents in achieving their goals through structured treatment plans and symptom management strategies.
• Medication Administration (MAP): Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document appropriately. (Additional $500 Sign-on Bonus if currently MAP certified and valid for a minimum of 90 days from start date!)
• Transportation: Escort residents to medical appointments and community activities.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client records using electronic health record systems.
