Job summary

Generations is seeking dedicated staff to supervise and support at-risk male youth in our program. You will ensure safety, provide therapeutic supervision, and assist with daily activities including hygiene, chores, journaling, and homework.

This full-time weekend shift is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday 7a to 11:30p, with orientation requirements. This role offers paid training, benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for growth in a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older to apply.
• Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass all required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of all residents under care by learning and implementing all policies and procedures approved by Generations.
• Provides active, therapeutic supervision of residents during treatment and educational activities.
• Assists in the coordination of therapeutic activities, and oversees the completion of resident activities including hygiene, chores, journaling, homework, or other clinical assignments.
• Provides documentation on the daily tracking sheet of resident behavior, and interventions provided and their effectiveness on a daily basis.
• Maintains awareness of residents' whereabouts with constant supervision and head counts during shifts.
• Documents daily shift reports, attends staff meetings and other required meetings.
• Participates in staff growth and development training activities and maintains a minimum number of training hours.
• Monitors resident behavior and provides behavioral interventions as needed.
• Maintains a safe therapeutic environment using TCI and CARE techniques.

Job Details:
