Job summary

Generations is a residential program aiding at-risk male youth since 1991. The role focuses on safety, supervision, and coordinating therapeutic activities within a structured schedule. Orientation is required with shift options and weekend rotation.

Training in TCI and CARE is provided, and full-time weekend options plus part-time roles are available. Candidates must be 21+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safety of all residents by learning and implementing policies.
• Provides active, therapeutic supervision during treatment and educational activities.
• Assists in coordinating therapeutic activities and oversees resident activities.
• Documents daily resident behavior and interventions.
• Maintains awareness of residents' whereabouts with head counts.
• Documents daily shift reports and attends required meetings.
• Participates in staff development and maintains training hours.
• Monitors resident behavior and applies behavioral interventions as needed.
• Maintains a safe therapeutic environment using TCI and CARE techniques.

Generations is one of a kind! Since 1991, we have provided the only program to help at-risk male youth overcome their personal traumatic experiences resulting in a 98 percent success rate helping to ending the cycle of abuse.

Must be able to attend orientation Monday through Thursday 8a to 4p or 10a to 6:30p.
Part-time schedule to include every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Ensures the safety of all residents under care by learning and implementing all policies and procedures approved by Generations.


• Provides active, therapeutic supervision of residents during treatment and educational activities.


• Assists in the coordination of therapeutic activities, and oversees the completion of resident activities including, but not limited to, hygiene, chores, journaling, homework, or other clinical assignments.


• Provides documentation on the daily tracking sheet of resident behavior, and interventions provided and their effectiveness on a daily basis.


• Maintains an awareness of the whereabouts of all residents under care by providing constant supervision, and head counts throughout the shift.


• Documents daily shift reports, attends staff meetings and all other required meetings as assigned.


• Participates in staff growth and development training activities and maintains a minimum number of training hours.


• Monitors resident behavior and provides behavioral interventions as needed.


• Maintains a safe therapeutic environment using TCI and C.A.R.E. techniques.
