Job summary

Valley Hope of Grapevine, located between Dallas and Fort Worth, seeks a Master’s level licensed clinician/therapist for its residential treatment center to provide individual and group counseling and to develop and implement treatment plans. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and coordination of care for patients and families.

The position offers a weekend bonus of $150 per day worked, competitive compensation in the given range, and a mission-driven environment

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, education, or social work.
• Licensed or credentialed to function as an alcohol and drug treatment counselor in the state.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group counseling, therapeutic intervention, and educational lectures to patients and family members.
• Develops, revises, and implements treatment plans.
• Performs face to face assessments.
• Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team and attends weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Maintains patient progress reports and coordinates follow-up care for patients and families.
