Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in a residential social service setting serving criminal justice/substance abusing populations or equivalent education.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, or related field preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDCR clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain WestCare vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of the facility through continuous monitoring of grounds and facility.
• General client supervision in daily living activities and program operation.
• Prepare client activity reports and other required reports.
• Document in client files and ensure scheduled activities occur on time.
• Conduct medication calls as required by policy.
• De-escalate situations and maintain safety within the program.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility.
