Job summary

NFI North is seeking an Overnight Residential Counselor for our Residential Treatment Program serving youth ages 10–20 in Stetson Ranch. You will assist during the overnight shift to maintain a safe, supportive environment, provide crisis intervention, and support youth through case management and advocacy.

Overnight Residential Counselors are responsible for overnight shift operations including: maintaining a safe and supportive environment for participants, crisis intervention, case management/advocacy and all related documentation.

Qualifications include directly related employment experience, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, sociology or equivalent and/or additional experience working with youth. Strong organization and communication skills are necessary; ability to assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making is also required. The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic and creative and have the desire to be part of a team of professionals.
