Job summary

NFI North, Miller Terraces in Bangor, ME, is seeking a Full-Time Residential Counselor (2nd Shift) to support adults living with mental illness in a community-based program. Shifts are Sunday through Wednesday from 12p to 10p, with flexible scheduling as needed.

The role focuses on helping clients develop independent living skills and fostering a sense of belonging. High School Diploma is required; certifications are a plus but not required. Benefits include medical/dental/vision and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Degree and experience preferred but not required.
• CRMA, MHRT1, CNA, and PSS certifications are a plus but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults living with mental illness to develop independent living skills.
• Promote a sense of belonging within the community-based program.
• Support clients in daily living activities and skill-building.
• Adapt to schedule needs, including second shift coverage.

This multi-faceted treatment program is seeking flexible, energetic, creative people who wish to assist people in developing independent living skills and strive to promote a sense of belonging for mental health consumers. High School Diploma required. Degree as well as experience working in a similar environment would be preferred but not required. CRMA, MHRT1, CNA, and PSS certifications are all a plus but not required. Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasions when needed is also a plus.
