Job summary

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton invites applications for a Residential Counselor position at our Hammonton, NJ site. Under supervision, you will support residents with daily living skills and participate in recovery planning to promote residents' well-being.

You will help coordinate weekly activities, ensure safety and security, and document assessments for the treatment team, including medication supervision as needed. Sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Provides support services, including but not limited to daily living skills, life skill development, supportive residential counseling, transportation, etc. as needed by each resident.
• Support and assist residents in weekly program schedules and outside activities.
• Maintains the security and safety of the residents and the facility.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the Individual Recovery Plan for each resident.
• Communicate, in written & verbal form, assessments & observations of consumers to other treatment team members.
• Supervise and monitor residents in self-medication.
• Maintains accurate/current client documentation according to accrediting standards.
