Community Resources For Justice (CRJ) is hiring a Residential Counselor in Paxton, MA for a full-time overnight shift. The position involves direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, medications administration, documentation, and crisis management.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred human services degrees. Excellent interpersonal skills, reliability, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including meal prep, medication monitoring, and transportation.
• Foster a positive, respectful community environment.
• Document resident progress and incidents accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Respond to crises and apply de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours (interviews, appointments, activities).
• Teach clients new skills as per their Individual Service Plan.
• Act as a positive role model to maximize quality of life while ensuring safety.
• Administer medications and complete progress notes and summaries.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Third Shift [Overnight]
Salary: The starting rate for this position is $20/hr. and is benefits eligible

CRJ’s Disabilities Services supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized programs in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. We offer a range of residential and day programs to support people in the places they want to live and work. We provide care tailored to the needs of individuals we serve; we don’t look to make the individuals fit into our programs.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours; this may include job interviews, medical appointments, weekly recreation, religious services, and shopping trips

• Support and teach clients new skills including, but not limited to, specific goals in the clients’ Individual Service Plan

• Acting as a positive role model for the client to support attaining the highest quality of life while maintaining their safety in all settings

• Administering medications and completing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, such as progress notes, weekly summaries, and attendance
