Job summary

The Dimock Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor who will support adults living in community residences to live as independently as possible. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily living, and help residents participate in community activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining privacy, documenting ISP progress, administering medications per DDS/DPH guidelines, and collaborating with the program team to ensure a safe and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience with developmentally disabled population required.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop a warm, cooperative atmosphere in the residence.
• Safeguard privacy and treat residents with dignity.
• Provide case management for designated individuals.
• Administer medication according to DDS/DPH regulations.
• Develop and implement Individual Support Plans.
