Job summary

The Dimock Center is seeking a Relief Residential Counselor to support individuals in community residences, helping them live as independently as possible and participate in the community. The role includes case management, medication administration, and maintaining records under supervision.

You will work in a collaborative team, ensuring safety, privacy, and dignity while implementing Individual Support Plans and coordinating activities with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience with developmentally disabled population required.
• CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration Certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop a warm, friendly, cooperative atmosphere in the residence.
• Safeguard privacy and dignity of residents and staff at all times.
• Provide case management services for designated individuals.
• Administer medication according to all regulations.
• Maintain ISP records and other required documentation.
• Develop and carry out recreational/community activities with residents.
