Job summary

Allied Rehabilitation Centers, Inc. seeks a Residential Counselor to implement and monitor residents' service plans in CT.

You will model positive behavior, ensure safe living conditions, assist with meals and daily activities, and help transport residents while supporting personal growth through training opportunities. You will document activities, communicate effectively, and maintain professionalism with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, 21+ years of age.
• Clean criminal background and driving record required.
• History of reliable work habits.
• Experience working with individuals with/ disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and instruction in residential homes.
• Document activities according to guidelines.
• Provide transportation using agency vehicle.
• Offer individualized training and choices to individuals as described in the Individual Program Plan.
• Demonstrate strong communication and documentation abilities.
• Maintain professionalism when engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Assist with medication administration once certified by CT.
• Complete assigned tasks consistently.
