Job summary

NFI North in Ashland, NH is seeking a Direct Care Counselor for our Transitional Housing Program on the 2nd shift (Wednesday through Saturday). The role provides residential and day program support to adults living with mental illness, helping them achieve independent living.

You will supervise daily activities, reinforce personal responsibility and social skills, monitor medications, and model constructive behavior.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred with two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with participant population.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling.
• Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills, and behavior.
