Job summary

Justice Resource Institute in Dracut, MA is seeking a Residential Counselor to support latency-aged clients in a group home setting with an energetic, positive approach and structured daily activities.

The role is 2nd shift, full-time (Sunday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM). Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $25.00 per hour, with potential overtime and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required for transporting clients.
• Evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts required.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Provide enriching daily activities for clients, such as arts and crafts and field trips.
• Create a safe, therapeutic community by supporting clients and modeling coping strategies.
• Help clients develop life skills (cooking, banking, vocational skills) and independence.
• Transport clients and participate in off-site activities as needed.

Little Heroes Home is a Group Home treatment setting for latency-aged clients that specializes intraumainformed care.Little Heroes provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Full-time, Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
