Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to residents, including medical, dental, personal care, meals, and household tasks.
• Assist with ISPs, track progress, and support adherence to housing rules and safety guidelines.
• Transport residents to activities and appointments and utilize Positive Behavioral Supports.
• Complete required documentation per agency policies and lead weekly house meetings.
• Maintain financial records for residents and program funds in line with regulations.
• Obtain and maintain state certification in medication administration within six months.

Position OverviewThe Residential Counselor plays a vital role in developing and implementing Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and providing direct care, training, and support to residents.
