LifeStream, Inc. is seeking a Residential Coordinator in New Bedford, MA. The role leads a team of 8-10 Direct Support professionals to provide exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some flexibility, with a starting salary of $58,700.

The position emphasizes implementing the LifeStream philosophy, person-centered planning, and maintaining quality home environments, along with essential administrative duties and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in the Human Service field or equivalent experience in Human Services.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with history of quality work performance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision and development of 8-10 Direct Support staff, coordinating trainings to address identified needs.
• Ensure LifeStream philosophy of Community, Commitment and Continuous learning is implemented.
• Apply Person Centered Thinking for all employees and individuals.
• Maintain a pleasant home environment reflecting individuals' interests and preferences.
• Coordinate home/vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Complete administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and documentation review in a timely fashion.
• Ensure ISP processes are conducted in the best interest of individuals and in compliance with regulations.

Your responsibility as a Residential Coordinator will be leading a team of 8-10 Direct Support professional in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Some of the additional functions of this position are:

• Direct supervision and development of all program staff including the coordinating trainings to address identified need areas. Manage performance and discipline process according to agency policy and applicable law
• Ensure LifeStream philosophy on Community, Commitment and Continuous learning is being implemented.
• Assure the implementation of Person Centered Thinking for all employees and individuals.
• All homes must maintain a pleasant physical appearance and that items in the home represent the interests and preferences of the individuals supported.
• Coordinate necessary home/vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and review of documentation is completed in a timely fashion.
• Assure that Individual Service Plan (ISP) process is conducted and carried out in the best interest of each individual served and in compliance with DDS and MRC regulations pertaining to ISP development and implementation.

Experience/Education

Required

• Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in the Human Service field with one year supervisory experience OR a minimum of three years' experience in Human Services. Candidate will also have demonstrated a history of quality work performance and teamwork in previous positions as well as proven leadership skills.
