Position Summary

This position is responsible for supervising Residential Support Workers, coordinating residential operations, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, and serving as a liaison between residential staff, clinical teams, consumers, families, and community stakeholders.

This position is responsible for supervising Residential Support Workers, coordinating residential operations, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements, and serving as a liaison between residential staff, clinical teams, consumers, families, and community stakeholders.

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesStaff Leadership & Supervision
  • Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise Residential Support Workers.
  • Ensure staff understand and follow agency policies, procedures, and treatment philosophies.
  • Conduct regular supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
  • Monitor staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and service continuity.
  • Ensure staff complete all required trainings and maintain required certifications.
Residential Operations
  • Oversee daily operations of staffed residential homes.
  • Ensure homes remain safe, clean, and free of hazards.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and residential care standards.
  • Collaborate with agency leadership to address operational needs and maintain quality services.
Participant Support & Recovery Services
  • Ensure individualized recovery plans are implemented consistently and effectively.
  • Support a recovery-oriented environment that promotes independence, wellness, and community integration.
  • Coordinate with consumers, staff, and treatment providers to address participant needs.
  • Promote consumer health, safety, dignity, and quality of life.
Team Collaboration & Communication
  • Serve as a liaison between Residential Support Workers and the ACT Plus clinical team.
  • Attend daily treatment team meetings and other assigned administrative meetings.
  • Facilitate and lead monthly residential staff meetings.
  • Communicate significant participant, staffing, and operational concerns to the interdisciplinary team, including medical providers when appropriate.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure timely completion and accuracy of required documentation, including shift logs, progress notes, incident reports, and other agency records.
  • Monitor compliance with agency, state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Community Relations
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with neighbors, community organizations, and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a representative of the program within the community.
  • Coordinate with family members, guardians, service providers, and community agencies as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related Human Services field preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field required with a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
Experience
  • Experience supervising staff in a behavioral health, residential, or community-based setting preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness strongly preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel between residential program locations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed.

  • Regular use of computers, mobile devices, telephones, and office equipment.
  • Frequent travel between multiple residential locations may be required.
