Job summary

gpac is seeking a Residential Senior Project Manager to lead luxury custom home projects in the Jacksonville, FL area. This role requires overseeing preconstruction through completion, managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors, and maintaining excellent client relations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience with custom homes, deep knowledge of building codes, and strong communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a custom home builder or residential general contractor.
  • Proven success managing custom residential construction projects, preferably luxury homes valued at $5 million or more.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction methods, building systems, and local building codes.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Identify and proactively mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and company policies.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, selections, and project documentation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional communication and service throughout the building process.
