Job summary

Bridge of Grace Ministries is seeking a Residential Construction Project Lead to oversee housing renovation, repair, and construction projects under the MVPD Director. You will supervise renovation staff, apprentices, and volunteers, ensure quality and safety, and provide operational support as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, tracking progress, and mentoring staff, with a focus on safety and timely completion.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential construction, renovation, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience supervising staff, apprentices, volunteers, or contractors.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building systems, tools, and jobsite safety.
• Experience coordinating projects and schedules to meet timelines and expectations.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential renovation, repair, and construction projects under the director.
• Perform and oversee construction projects to ensure quality and timelines.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to support efficient completion.
• Inspect projects for quality, safety and standards compliance.
• Provide instruction, mentorship, and feedback to part-time staff.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee volunteers.
• Lead hands-on training opportunities for staff and volunteers.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and productive jobsite environment.
