Job summary

Tom Curren Companies in Newton, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our residential Production team. You will ensure signed projects enter Production with complete information, and that every material selection is ordered accurately, tracked, and ready when the field team needs it.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates professionally with clients and vendors, and can manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of residential construction, remodeling, design-build, purchasing, or construction-administration experience preferred but not required.
• Strong administrative experience in a fast-paced environment; related experience may be transferable.
• Excellent attention to detail, written communication, follow-through, and time-management skills.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and learning new systems.
• Ability to read project scopes, product specifications, and basic plans.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Review signed contracts and confirm complete scope, drawings, selections, client information, deposits, and project documents.
• Identify missing information or inconsistencies and work with Sales, Estimating, Finance, and Production to close gaps.
• Order documented and approved client selections, verifying model numbers, quantities, sizes, finishes, and lead times.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, backorders, and credits.
• Track long-lead materials and alert Project Managers to risks affecting schedules.
• Coordinate deliveries with vendors, warehouse, PMs, field teams, and clients as appropriate.
• Support PMs with project files, meeting notes, action items, and closeout records.
