Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead residential construction projects from procurement through close-out, owning budgets, schedules, and customer experience. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure projects meet time, budget, and quality expectations.

The role emphasizes strong communication with clients, proactive risk management, and thorough documentation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in residential or light commercial construction PM.
• Proven ownership of budgets, forecasting, margins, and vendor cost control.
• Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP plans.
• Strong contract, scope writing, and change order management.
• Proficient with Excel and CPM visualization.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects end to end including procurement, pre-construction, scheduling, budgeting, oversight, and close-out.
• Own project profit and loss, maintain CPM schedules, and deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers across trades.
• Lead customer communication with weekly updates and proactive issue resolution.
• Develop scopes of work, RFPs, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation.
• Oversee procurement, vendor bids, permitting, inspections, and building code compliance.
• Maintain digital project files, logs, photos, and reporting in standardized systems.
• Support crew leadership, set goals, and assist with performance feedback.
• Monitor risk, insurance compliance, subcontractor agreements, and quality control.
