Job summary

Dream Finders Homes is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee newly built residential projects in Charleston, SC. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, ensure blueprint accuracy, manage budgets, and coordinate trades with the purchasing team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include builder coordination, progress pacing, reviews of subcontractor orders, and leading weekly team meetings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Knowledge of building codes preferred.
• 2+ years of residential home building experience preferred.
• Homebuilding software BuildPro experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of blueprints and takeoffs, and manage variance to budgets.
• Coordinate supply/trade issues in project with purchasing department.
• Oversee builder partnerships and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate builder loading, start timing and pace, and monitor communications with sales orders to maximize closings.
• Review/approve subcontractor purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly planned encounters with team members.
