Godby Hearth & Home in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a General Construction Laborer to join our hands-on team. You’ll assist with fireplace installation, framing, demolition, finish work, and other residential projects, with on-the-job training and room to grow.

This full-time, year-round role offers weekday hours, overtime during busy season, a competitive pay range of $18–$25 per hour, and a comprehensive benefits package including Insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Hands-on construction experience or willingness to train.
• Ability to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist residential construction tasks including installation, maintenance and service.
• Load, unload, transport and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Support fireplace installations, framing, demolition and finish work.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized job sites.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and workplace safety rules.
