Havenside Construction Group is seeking an experienced residential construction project manager to coordinate client communications, translate plans into actionable scopes of work, and ensure projects progress from the first visit to final walkthrough.

You will work under the Installation Manager and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver safe, high-quality renovations on schedule while maintaining strong customer relationships across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential construction management.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mastery of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to install quality frameworks, structures and fixtures with finishing skills.
  • Understanding blueprints and project plans.
  • Mechanical skills for working with diverse tools and machines.
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines/budgets in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative work style.
  • Basic computer literacy including MS Word documents and email.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and preparing construction sites, materials, tools and equipment.
  • Translating plans, scopes of work, drawings and spoken instructions to project completion.
  • Adherence to building codes.
  • Executing residential renovations including installation of bathrooms, kitchens, doors, cabinets, flooring, drywall, painting, exterior stairs and pathways.
  • Keeping the worksite safe and clean.
  • Assisting with transport and operation of heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Mixing, pouring and leveling concrete.
  • Installation of equipment that supports access in and out of a home, up and down stairs and pathways in and around the home.
  • Basic electrical and plumbing work.
  • Securing and uploading paperwork and photos throughout the project.
  • Resolving basic customer concerns.

This position manages client communications pertaining to construction-related questions and paperwork and ensures any concerns are elevated to the Installation Manager for resolution. This role works under the direction of the Installation Manager and is supported by an experienced construction management team to ensure that the Installer obtains answers to questions and ensures that they advance in their skills and knowledge.

  • Mechanical skills for working effectively and efficiently with diverse tools and machines, such as extension ladders electronic and laser levels, and rotary tools like power saws
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines/budgets in a dynamic environment
  • Collaborative work style
  • Basic computer literacy including use of electronic calendars, Microsoft Word documents and email
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, mud, gravel and unfinished surfaces
  • Adequate vision and hearing to perform essential job functions and maintain safety
