Job summary

Mosby Building Arts, Ltd. is seeking a Living In Place Installer in Kirkwood, MO to install accessibility modifications and deliver professional remodeling work on schedule and within budget. You’ll join a production team and support the Lead Remodeler with high-quality installations.

The role requires 2 years of residential remodeling experience, proficiency with power tools, and reliable transportation. You will work on-site across multiple jobs with emphasis on safety and customer service

Qualifications

• 2 years of residential building and remodeling experience
• Knowledge of basic home construction, wall framing and anchoring techniques
• Read and follow blue prints and installation manuals
• Expert use of power tools (drills, saws, etc.)
• Stand, walk, kneel, bend, climb ladders, move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods
• Have own transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Install stairlifts, ramps, and other accessibility home modifications as assigned
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Deliver excellent communication to lead remodeler regarding status of tasks

Title: Living In Place Installer

Reports To: Lead Remodeler

Job Purpose: Support the success of the Production Team by providing excellent and professional remodeling and installation skills on every job that ensures it is finished on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Install stairlifts, ramps, and other accessibility home modifications as assigned
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Deliver excellent communication to lead remodeler regarding the status of assigned tasks.
• Transport material between multiple jobs throughout the day as needed.
• Use basic mechanical ability and skills to operate specialty tools (planes, bits, chisels, handsaws, etc.)
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for growth.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, cheerfulness and adherence to safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of experience in residential building & remodeling.
• Knowledge of basic home construction, wall framing and anchoring techniques
• Read and follow blue prints and product installation manuals
• Expert use of power tools like drills, saws, etc.
• Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
• Good organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Supply your own tools
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
• Have your own transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between jobsites
