Lifesteps, a long-standing human service agency, is seeking Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a residential home in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, grooming, and transportation, delivering compassionate, person-centered care.

No experience is required as paid training is provided; 18+ and clearances are required. Full-time hours are offered, with shifts in the evenings or daytime; part-time options are also available to fit schedules.

Qualificações

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsabilidades

• Assist adults with daily living activities (dressing, meals, bathing).
• Provide transportation to doctor appointments and outings.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Support community activities and home-based goals.

Direct Care Aides(Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Dutiescan include:

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Evenings 3 pm to 11 pm OR 7 am to 11 pm.

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!

Position Requirements:

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
