Job summary

The Michaels Organization is a nationwide leader in residential real estate and seeks a Community Manager to oversee on-site operations and live in the communities we manage. You will lead staff, manage budgets, coordinate leasing, and ensure property maintenance and resident relations.

The role requires 2+ years in multi-family management, leasing experience, and relevant certifications. The Community Manager will ensure compliance with applicable laws and drive community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two or more years' experience in multi-family residential property management.
• Leasing experience required.
• Accredited Resident Manager or similar designation preferred.
• Accounting/Financial and Administrative background preferred.
• Tax Credit, Section 8 and/or Public housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to all staff at the property.
• Budget preparation and control; financial reporting.
• Lease administration and resident relations; ensure compliance.
• Oversee property maintenance and vendor contracts.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance with company policies.
