Job summary

RHF seeks a part-time Janitor at Richardson Manor in Milwaukee, a 40-unit mobility-impaired residential community. The role covers cleaning, safety, and the welcoming appearance of common areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented, able to work independently while following safety standards. Flexible schedule includes mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays; compensation is $17.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred; training provided.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and techniques.
• Able to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & sanitizing: sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, disinfect all areas.
• Waste management: empty trash, recycle, and dispose properly.
• Restroom maintenance: clean, sanitize, restock supplies.
• Floor care: maintain tile, carpet, and wood surfaces.
• Window & glass cleaning: keep interior windows spotless.
• Minor maintenance: change bulbs, tighten screws, report issues.
• Safety & compliance: follow SDS, store supplies safely.
• Inventory management: monitor supplies and request restocks.
• Event support: assist with setup/breakdown for events.
• Special projects: deep cleaning and seasonal tasks as needed.
• Communication: report issues to supervisors.
