ADP, Inc. seeks a Combination Building Inspector I/II/III to enforce building codes within Elbert County borders, inspect residential construction for compliance, and manage data input for inspections and permits.

The role requires working with staff to handle additional duties as they arise and may include acting as CBO in absence. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience, knowledge of codes, and the ability to read drawings and specs.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent in architecture, engineering, contracting, or construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of modern building construction methods and codes.
• Experience with plan reviews and interpreting codes.

Mansioni

• Inspect construction work requiring a building permit.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes across residential and other structures.
• Read and interpret codes, manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide written reports on violations and corrective actions.
