Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking energetic CDL drivers to operate refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes in a residential area. You will supervise helpers on the route, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure timely pickups of garbage, yard waste, and recyclables.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean truck, adhering to DOT/state regulations, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates meet age and licensing requirements and speak English proficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state of employment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to drive and operate refuse trucks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive assigned refuse route and unload at landfill or facility.
• Provide courteous customer service and maintain positive attitude.
• Ensure proper pickup of garbage and recyclables and tag improper containers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain DVIR logs.
• Keep truck clean and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Document required reports and supervise route helpers when assigned.
