Job summary

Republic Services is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services to our customers. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards, comply with all regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company procedures, and teamwork with dispatchers and customers to maintain efficient service routes across our Republic Services operations.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along assigned routes and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or by dispatch.
• Load and unload refuse, operate the packer blade and dispose of material at the facility in accordance with safety policies.
